I thought I would have to go back and dye my hair again. The last time I dyed it, the color came out too dark and didn’t look right (even though it should’ve), and I’m very happy with my new lighter red color, but after a few weeks, the ends of my hair started looking dirty again. After some research, I found that it’s not uncommon to need to go darker again after re-dying your hair and I was prepared to do just that. Unfortunately for me, my stylist didn’t think we needed to go darker and instead gave me a ‘gloss’ treatment which lifted the color from my hair, leaving it as blonde as can be. I was very sad to lose my color even though it looked nice, but then I tried coloring it again, hoping that maybe there would be a different result this time. The next day, before getting in the shower, I applied toner to the roots of my hair because it had gotten darker once dried and left an orange tint around my face.<\/p>\n
